Position: Windows Configuration Engineer (CE46SF RM 3624)

Shift timing : May be sometime till 11:00 PM (For customer meetings)
Education Required: BE/B Tech/MCA

The profile we need for a Windows Configuration Engineer is as follows:

1. EE preferably
2. Experience in MS Windows OS including creation of Master Hard Drive images using Windows Deployment tools, hard drive partitions, boot sector, system imaging practices, firewall settings, active directory domain, GPOs, Registry settings, I/O, drive partitioning, boot sequence, TPU, file system, PowerShell and command prompt, network administration, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and ports, certificates management, windows security features such as UAC, device drivers installation/ configuration, user/group management, Hyper-V and/or other virtualization technologies, integration of Windows desktops in a cloud environment, single sign-on, BitLocker, code signing
3. Be able to write scripts (power shell or comparable technologies) to set up a system to meet a particular configuration
4. Experience with cybersecurity tools/scanners such as Blackduck, Nessus. Ability to investigate cybersecurity vulnerabilities related to operating system environment and design solutions to address those vulnerabilities.
5. Be able to contribute to hardware specs for computers, including hard drives, to be used in Customer products
6. Understanding of OS differences – e.g. Windows 10 vs Windows 11
7. Be able to set up virtual machines
8. Ability to troubleshoot Windows OS level issues such as conflicting registry or GPO settings with respect to Customer medical device application software
9. Ability to operate in Azure cloud environment with understanding of setting up virtual machines, managing keys in Azure key vault, etc.
10. Configure and manage GPOs, Registry entries, and Firewall rules exclusively via scripting
