Position: Sales Engineer (CBS12FT RM 3891)
The Sales Engineer’s responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products’ parts, functions, and processes and assisting with closing sales where technical expertise may be required to fit clients’ needs.
To be successful as a sales engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our company’s technical products and services and you should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to nontechnical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.
Responsibilities: –
- Understanding of Company products/systems, their area of application and working philosophy to suit customer requirements at functional and structural level.
- Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company’s products or services to customers.
- Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Researching, developing, and modifying products to meet customers’ technical requirements and needs.
- Helping customers who have problems with installed products and recommending improved or upgraded materials and machinery.
- Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
- Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company’s products and services.
- Finalize the Bill of Material for the concerned enquiry based on available documents and in consultation with the customer.
- If necessary, carry out a site survey for better understanding of customer requirements and suggest best suitable solution.
- Preparation of comprehensive offer against enquiry.
- Attending technical / commercial negotiation meeting with customers for finalizing the order.
- Routine follow-up with different customers for new enquiries as well as for submitted offers.
- Supporting Project Engineering department at any stage of project execution activity, if required.
- Providing required support to customer support team.
- Payment follow-ups., mail Communication for Offer.
- Prepare Quotation, Submit Catalogs & QA Drawings.
- Making Pro forma Invoice / Advance collection
- Maintain LPP & Price Sheet.
- Maintain Customer Visit Plan.
- Handel Employee tickets bookings for customer Visits.
Education Qualification: – Minimum Diploma in Electronics/E&TC. B.E, BBA will be an added advantage.
Experience: – Fresher/Experience of 1-2 years in relevant field
Skills: –
- Fluency in Microsoft Office,
- Good verbal and written skills.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD would be an added advantage. Must possess MSCIT certificate.
- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
- Good leadership and teamwork skills.
