Position: Lead Engineer (TT38ST RM 3947)
About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Engineer with 3 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence, mentor junior engineers, lead project delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design, development, testing, and delivery of engineering projects
- Translate requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, mentorship and code reviews
- Ensure quality standards, performance benchmarks, and best practices
- Identify risks and roadblocks early and propose mitigation plans
- Drive continuous improvement and engineering innovation
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders on priorities and delivery timelines
- Contribute to documentation, process standards, and release planning
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in engineering roles
- Strong technical background in relevant domain (software/embedded/cloud/mechanical/automation)
- Solid understanding of SDLC and engineering best practices
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code or technical solutions
- Experience with technical leadership or mentoring responsibilities
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, or equivalent)
- Experience in leading small teams or project modules
- Exposure to cross-domain technologies and architecture patterns
- Industry certifications relevant to domain (AWS, Azure, Scrum, PMP, etc.)
