Job Description-
MANDATORY SKILLS – ANDROID APP, AOSP

PREFERRED SKILLS – Android Internals & AOSP Customization, Android SDK

JOB DESCRIPTION-

• Review, analyze and solve reported issues by stakeholders, based on log files and test reports
  Develop and maintain system-level applications
• Customize and extend the Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) to meet automotive-specific requirements.
• Implement and optimize the Vehicle Hardware Abstraction Layer (VHAL) to communicate with vehicle sensors and ECUs.
• Development, testing and integration of Android vehicle app into different platforms, brands and markets aligned with the business requirements and defined UI/UX standards.

Job Responsibilities –

• Core Languages: proficient in Java; proficiency in C++ is a significant advantage.
• Android Internals: Deep understanding of the Android SDK, IPC/Binder, Services, and Broadcast Receivers.
• Automotive Tech: Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), API, and the App Library.
• Performance: Proven ability to optimize apps for low-memory, embedded hardware environments.
• Log Analysis & Debugging: Proficiency in interpreting complex Android system logs, bug reports, and diagnostic data to identify root causes in a vehicle environment
