Position: SoC/IP Infrastructure Engineer (BB45FT RM 4023)
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled engineer with 4–5 years of experience to support and enhance SoC/IP development flows. The role involves understanding existing build and execution environments, documenting workflows, and driving automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand existing Makefile-based flows across SoC/IP environments
Identify and map:
- Input dependencies and their sources
- Intermediate data generation and storage points
- Final output generation and routing
- Create clear, structured documentation for end-to-end flow understanding
- Modify and optimize flows based on project requirements
- Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline processes
- Ensure robustness and maintainability of build and execution flows
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor/SoC/IP environments
- Strong proficiency in:
- Shell scripting (Bash)
- Python programming for automation
- Hands-on experience with Makefiles and build systems
- Good understanding of SoC/IP development flows and toolchains
- Familiarity with common EDA tools, commands, and configuration options
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in flow optimization and automation frameworks
- Exposure to DV/PD/Integration flows in semiconductor projects
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
