Overall responsibilities and duties:
The software engineer who will be responsible for Automation framework development for System/SW validation of Infotainment and Cockpit Electronics Products.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science
Experience:
o 2-5 years’ experience in Automotive Application development.
Skills and competencies:
Must Have:
o Experience in Automotive infotainment modules or at least Automotive background.
o Experience in Python 3.8
o Experience in Ubuntu 20.4
o Experience with any Automation Framework, plugins, module integration etc.
o Experience/Understanding of Hardware set-up with respect to System validation for Infotainment system or any Automotive feature.
o Working experience in Git/Gerrit/Gitlab
o Working experience in ALM tool.
Nice to have:
o Experience of working in Scrum team in Agile methodology.
o Experience of Vector VT system/D-Space
o Experience in CAN, UDP/TCP protocols
o Experience with serial/Ethernet communication.
Responsibilities:
o Development/ Maintenance of Infotainment system/SW testing framework.
o Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions.
o Write well-designed, testable code.
o Produce specification and determine operational feasibility
o Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
o Should be able to perform PEER reviews
o Document and maintain software functionality
o Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
o Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback.
o Comply with project plans and industry standards.
o Ensure software is updated with latest features
