Position: CAE Simulation Engineer (TK36ST RM 4183)

MANDATORY SKILLS : Mechanical – Proe

PREFERRED SKILLS : Mechanical engineering

Job Description & Responsibilities :

  • Create high-quality FE meshes for components and full vehicle models.
  • Perform geometry cleanup and mid-surface extraction.
  • Ensure mesh quality as per standards (aspect ratio, skewness, warpage).
  • Assign appropriate element types (shell, solid, beam, etc.).
  • Define connections (spot welds, seams, bolts, adhesives).
  • Prepare models for different analyses (crash, durability, NVH).
  • Work closely with CAE analysts to meet model requirements.
  • Adhere to project timelines and delivery milestones.
  • Maintain meshing guidelines and documentation.
  • Support model debugging and updates based on feedback.
  • Participate in Technical reviews with all stakeholders.
  • Support to FE Assembly creation.
  • Communication with customers & internal/external teams for technical discussion.

Skills/Experience Required :

  • B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in meshing tools (HyperMesh, ANSA).
  • Good understanding of meshing techniques (2D, 3D, tetra, hexa).
  • Hands on of geometry cleanup and defeaturing.
  • Understanding of quality criteria for different solvers.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (CATIA, NX).
  • Basic knowledge of FEA concepts and element behavior.
  • Experience in automotive structures (BIW, chassis, trims).
  • Ability to handle large assemblies and complex geometries.
  • Attention to detail and strong quality focus.
  • Typically 2–6 years of experience in CAE meshing domain.
  • Must have extensive Knowledge of automotive subsystems & Good knowledge of automotive Crash/NVH/Durability standards.
  • Knowledge of automotive CAE systems & testing methods & Effective team player with good communication skills.
