JOB DESCRIPTION

• Coordinating the development of future Powertrains in collaboration with vehicle divisions to define key requirements on noise, load carrying capacity, interfacing requirements meeting vehicle performance targets that overlap domains (e.g., Power and Torque, Energy efficiency, Battery, Thermal, High voltage) etc.
• Collaborate with property owners within global powertrains and vehicle level property owners to define interface performance targets for future integrated powertrains (e.g., BEV, PHEV, ICE). • Define powertrain level targets and coordinate the development of interfacing performance target requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across divisions globally to implement and optimize future powertrain concepts.
• Present and advise on proposals to all relevant stakeholders and facilitate directional decision making.
• Define SMART powertrain level performance requirements for future integrated powertrains developed to meet customer needs and expectations.
• Develop, maintain, and share knowledge and knowhow relevant to the own field of expertise, keeping pace with both internal and external (innovative) developments.
• Define and monitor verification and validation activities in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Document these requirements in Doors Next Generation (DNG) requirements management tool.
