Role Summary
Senior engineer to handle the more complex, code-intensive remediation flagged by SVA (static), DVA (dynamic), SCA, and container scans across the Java portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Remediate static (SVA) and dynamic (DVA) findings require actual code changes – insecure patterns, broken auth, injection risks, etc.
• Build automated upgrade/refactor scripts for dependency (SCA) and container-based image vulnerabilities
• Fix CloudFormation issues flagged by Wiz IaC Scan
• Build regression-testing harnesses to validate that fixes don’t break functionality
• Partner with the Automation Engineer to productionize fixes into pipelines

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years in Java/Spring Boot and Microservices, SQL and AWS
• AWS experience (CloudFormation, containers)
• Experience with SAST/DAST-style remediation (SVA/DVA) and dependency upgrades
• Strong CI/CD and automated testing background
• Scripting/automation experience (Python, Bash) for cross-tool remediation workflows
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) to accelerate code fixes, dependency upgrades, and automation scripting
