Position: Design Engineer – Product Design & Development (TK24ST RM 4590)

MANDATORY SKILLS : CATIA, Costing
PREFERRED SKILLS : Costing Catia support, Casting, Forging and Machining components.

Education : BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Industry : Automotive / Commercial Vehicle

Job Description

• Experience in Product Design & Development.
• Strong working experience in CATIA V5 covering Sheet Metal, Plastics, Surface Modeling, Assembly and Drawing Creation.
• Must have experience in Teamcenter.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Vis Professional / VisMockup.
• Creo 9.0 / Unigraphics knowledge is optional.
• Expertise in Part Modeling, Assembly and Detailing modules in CATIA.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and standards.
• Good knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience in commercial vehicle body design such as Roof, Floor, Seating Design and Installation Drawings is an added advantage.
• Experience in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle Packaging, Concept Creation and assembly processes.
• Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of relevant Regulations & Homologation requirements.
• Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and at different levels within the project organization based on requirements.
