Education Required: Bachelor’s

- Avionics experience with FMS (Flight Management System) domain experience. (Having knowledge of needed flight scenarios is essential for verifying software requirements)
- Good Analytical and Debugging skills.
- Hands on Software Coding and Verification as per DO-178B/C
- Test development using Vector Cast

- Good Analytical and Debugging skills.
- Experience on programming languages: C, Ada, Python
Good to have:
- C++
- Experience of agile methods, scrum and KANBAN
Candidate Roles and Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing verification test cases and test procedures, to ensure all requirements are met.
- Reviewing and analyzing system requirements to ensure clarity and testability, identifying potential gaps or ambiguities.
- Logging, tracking, and managing defects found during testing, collaborating with software and hardware teams for resolution.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including design, software, and systems engineering, to facilitate communication and understanding of verification needs.
- Ensuring that all testing and verification activities adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as DO-178B/C for software safety.
- Identifying areas for process improvement in verification activities and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- interacting with customers to understand requirements and provide updates on verification progress and results.
- Providing guidance and training to junior engineers and team members on verification processes and tools.
- Participating in audits and reviews with regulatory bodies to demonstrate compliance and validation of FMS systems.
