Position: Advance Engineer (Software Integration & Test) (TT46ST RM 4531)

Overall responsibilities and duties: Candidate will be responsible for validating Automotive Electronics Products.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or related field)

Experience:
o 4 to 6 years of experience in Automotive Validation
o Atleat 3+ years of experience in Infotaiment testing

Skills and competencies:
Must Have:
o Strong hands on experience with Android and Linux build systems.
o Solid expertise in Docker and Kubernetes (containerization, deployments, cluster troubleshooting).
o Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
o Solid understanding of Git commands and advanced branch management techniques.
o Experience using and administering Gerrit, Artifactory, and Coverity.
o Expertise in debugging build failures and pipeline issues.
o Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell scripting.
o Good understanding of networking fundamentals and ability to troubleshoot network-related issues.
o Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
o Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
o Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
o Ability to collaborate with distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
o Perform software integration and build activities for Android and Linux platforms.
o Set up, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and related tools.
o Handle Docker and Kubernetes based environments, including containerization, deployment, and debugging.
o Manage source code repositories, including branching, merging, and code reviews in Git and Gerrit.
o Analyze and resolve build failures, Jenkins pipeline errors, and integration issues.
o Work with Coverity or similar tools for static code analysis and ensure compliance with code quality standards.
o Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
o Troubleshoot network-related issues affecting the build, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.
o Collaborate with cross functional teams for smooth integration, testing, and delivery of software components.
o Maintain project documentation on Confluence and track development tasks using Jira.
o Communicate clearly with internal teams and stakeholders to provide status updates and technical support.
