Position: API Testing (MT57T RM 2991)

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced API Automation Tester to develop and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of our API services.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with extensive experience in API automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 to 10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on API automation.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java,
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, or similar.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to ensure API functionality and performance meet specified requirements.
• Experience in Selenium with Java
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand the application architecture and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for API testing.
• Monitor and report on test execution results, providing detailed analysis and insights.
• Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices are followed.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in test automation.
• Good Knowledge of SQL
