Position: Associate Consultant (XC35ST RM 3983)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled business strategist to create a detailed and comprehensive business plan for targeting various departments of the sector. This prerequisites an understanding of operations, market trends, and the ability to identify opportunities for collaboration, partnership, and growth across multiple sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a strategic approach to engage key decision-makers, understand departmental goals, and propose tailored solutions to drive revenue and strengthen relationships.

Furthermore, you will leverage your expertise in analysis techniques, coupled with your written & oral communication skills, to derive insights that drive business value for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis & Research:
    o Conduct thorough research on the sector, identifying emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities. More specifically create a repository of all the products, services, journeys that consume location intelligence.
    o Analyze and profile key departments e.g. for retail deep dive into market expansion, supply chain optimization
    o Gather insights into industry strategies and identify gaps and opportunities for targeting specific use-cases/ departments.
    o Evaluate external data sources and data sets to create API based integrations/ new products.
  • Business Plan Development:
    o Develop an in-depth understanding of each department’s unique challenges, objectives, and budget considerations
    o Create a detailed business plan to target various departments, including specific goals, strategies, and measurable outcomes.
    o Propose tailored solutions, products, or services to meet the needs of each department, use-case, sector, enhancing
    o Operational efficiency, profitability, or customer experience
    o Outline the steps for engagement, relationship-building, and long-term collaboration with each department.
  • Client servicing:
    o Some experience in client cold calling
    o Experience in some pre-sales from any sector
  • Marketing Content:
    o Create a repository of target players and stakeholders
    o Proactively build sector specific / use-case specific content for channels – in-person presentations; website; social media; news letters
    o Test content efficacy to improve messaging for target audience keeping senior stakeholders

Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, economics, business management
  • 3-5 years prior experience
  • Experience of handling desk research using multiple sources is necessary
  • Must demonstrate keen understanding of commercialization & business; adept at creating business canvas
  • Exceptional written communication skills & strong attention to detail
  • Creative and strategic thinking skills

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of geospatial data analysis and Spatial data science
  • Keen Interest in Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing
