Position: Attribute Development & Validation Manager (TT38ST RM 3954)
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Attribute Development & Validation Manager with 3–8 years of experience in automotive product development to lead attribute definition, validation strategy, and performance target achievement across vehicle programs.
The role involves ownership of attribute development from concept to production, ensuring performance, reliability, durability, safety, and regulatory compliance targets are met through simulation and physical validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end attribute development & validation strategy for assigned vehicle systems
- Define attribute performance targets aligned with product and customer requirements
- Develop validation plans including CAE simulations and physical testing
- Drive issue identification, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Lead cross-functional coordination with Design, CAE, Testing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
- Ensure timely closure of validation gaps before design freeze and SOP
- Monitor program milestones and ensure attribute performance compliance
- Prepare technical reports and present validation status to leadership
- Support regulatory and certification activities as required
- Drive continuous improvement in validation processes and methodologies
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in attribute development, validation, or vehicle performance engineering
- Strong knowledge of validation methodologies (CAE & physical testing)
- Experience with durability, safety, NVH, thermal, chassis, or vehicle dynamics attributes
- Proficiency in CAE tools (Ansys, Abaqus, HyperWorks, Nastran, etc.)
- Familiarity with vehicle development lifecycle and milestone management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication and program coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Electrical Engineering
- Exposure to full vehicle development programs
- Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers
- Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards
