sradmin Position: Automotive Software Engineer – AUTOSAR & ADAS (TT17ST RM 3910)
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Software Engineer with expertise in AUTOSAR and Basic Software (BSW) development to join our team in Chennai. This role will be crucial in developing and integrating embedded software for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), contributing to the next generation of intelligent vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) components and modules.
- Implement and optimize embedded software for ADAS features (e.g., adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automated parking).
- Work with various AUTOSAR layers, including MCAL, ECU Abstraction, Complex Device Drivers (CDDs), and Services Layer.
- Perform software testing, debugging, and validation to ensure robustness and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware teams, and application software developers.
- Contribute to software architecture design and requirements analysis within an AUTOSAR context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 7 years of experience in embedded software development, specifically within the automotive domain.
- Proven hands-on experience with AUTOSAR architecture and development.
- Strong understanding and experience with Basic Software (BSW) configuration and integration.
- Familiarity with ADAS functionalities and their underlying embedded software requirements.
- Proficiency in C programming language.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools (e.g., Vector DaVinci, ETAS ISOLAR-A).
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and microcontrollers.
