Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Consultant to help us streamline our vehicle software development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices, particularly within the automotive industry, and will be able to provide expert guidance on integrating our software build and artifacts into our existing Windchill process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current software deployment and flashing processes for various vehicle components.
- Identify and implement industry’s best practices for managing DevOps of vehicle software from development to delivery.
- Collaborate with development and deployment teams to reduce silos and improve workflow efficiency.
- Integrate software build and required artifacts into the Windchill process for part and BOM release.
- Provide consulting services to develop a comprehensive pathway to a future state of improved software deployment.
- Conduct meetings and discussions to share knowledge, best practices, and consulting services.
- Ensure seamless delivery of complete software packages to downstream deployment systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in DevOps practices, particularly in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of software deployment processes for vehicle components.
- Familiarity with Windchill for part and BOM release and software build management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to provide expert consulting services and develop strategic plans for process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with integrating software build artifacts into Windchill.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for automotive software development and deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
