Position: Linux Kernel Device Driver Developer (PCIe) (BB25FT RM 4266)

Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Linux Kernel Device Driver Developer with 2–5 years of experience in Linux kernel programming and PCIe device driver development. The ideal candidate should have strong C/C++ programming skills and a solid understanding of Linux internals, PCIe architecture, and low-level system software development.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and optimizing Linux kernel drivers for high-performance PCIe devices used in storage, networking, embedded systems, and virtualization platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel device drivers.
• Develop and debug PCIe Endpoint and Root Complex drivers.
• Implement support for DMA, MSI/MSI-X interrupts, BAR mapping, and memory management.
• Debug kernel crashes, memory leaks, race conditions, and performance issues.
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, and application teams to bring up new platforms.
• Analyze PCIe protocol transactions using protocol analyzers and Linux debugging tools.
• Optimize driver performance for low latency and high throughput.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
• Create technical documentation for driver architecture and APIs.

Required Skills
Programming

• Strong programming skills in C (mandatory)
• Good knowledge of C++
• Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash)
• Experience with Git version control

Experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on Linux Kernel Device Driver development.
• Proven experience in PCIe device driver development.
• Experience in product development and hardware bring-up is highly desirable
