Position: Manager – Supply Chain Manager (SSL1012FT RM 3705)

Role: Sourcing of Engineering Materials, SS pipes, plates, instruments, compressors

Job Responsibilities

• Classification of material into Mech, Electrical, Instrumentation, Capital, Furniture, Civil, Software’s, updating on weekly basis
• Standard Indent receipt format update as per need
• Vendor data base per material category
• Raw material data base and their cost data
• Payment terms standardization
• Consumables analysis and ordering schedule for minimizing number of orders and balancing inventory
• Identify crucial items and maintain inventory of it
• Transporter rates data based on size and weights
• Standard rate contracts for services fabrication, pipe work, electricals work, maintenance, testing, NDT’s
• Applicable taxation standard report and data
• Trend of SS 304 pricing, Ni Pricing, Ni Stocks, Fx variations
• Imported items purchase order formats, FOB, CIF identification, document on import requirements
• Standardization of PO, WO Formats
• Standardization Terms and conditions of PO & WO by nature of goods and services
• Standard list of truck/ containers/ trailers needed for standard products as CO2 Recovery Plant, Pub Breweries,
• Compliance requirements for Goods & Services – Statutory & Internal
• Vendor evaluation and database
• Guidelines to vendors for material and paper work movement
• Inquiry floating
• Vendor coordination
• Stores monitoring for inventory
• Purchase order
• Commercial negotiations
• Logistics for inward up to factory and procurement transport costs
• Material delivery follow up
• Material bill certification as per PO
• Debit notes intimation to accounts
• Dispatch monitoring from cost view point
• Work orders for MFG & Site work services, all kind of services for Canteen, Security, Manpower contractors, House Keeping etc.
• Annual maintenance contracts for Factory & Office,
• Project wise cost summary
• Training Needs – Taxation & Negotiations
• Crane rentals data
• Projection of payments to vendors for next quarter updated monthly basis submission to Commercial Dept
• L/C Formats
• Intimation to commercial on Fix payments
• Compliance to ISO requirements

Education& Experience

• Bachelor of Engineering Mech/Production equivalent technical manufacturing environment with 10-12 yrs of experience
• Preferred Industry background – EPC company in Process Field
• Leadership ability and preferably experience

Knowledge/Skills

• Ability to multi-task, and adjust priorities
• Ability to manage customers, suppliers, and internal functional groups (as necessary)
• Good communication skills, sensible, team leader
• Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems & Microsoft Office
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain engineering operations and best practices

• Good time-management skill
