Position: Mechanical Design- Lead Member (PW812FT RM 4133)

Minimum Qualification: BE / Diploma (Mechanical / Mechatronics)
Location : Katraj / Bener (Pune)

Exposure

• Mechanical design experience in project-based organization (Consumer Electronics / Semiconductor / Switchgear / Pharma SPMs / Packaging SPMs / Other Automation Industry sector)
• SPMs: Servo pressing, dispensing, glueing, visual testing, torquing, laser welding, leak test, end-of-line testing, material handling
• New project & product development

Purpose of Job

• Intra-function, inter-function & customer communication/coordination
• Design, detailing, and documentation compliance (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ERP/MPT)
• Design reviews inter & intra function (compliance, costing, scheduling) Monitor & implement saving opportunities, project-specific objectives control
• Monitor changes and risks proactively, Track issues & take corrective/preventive actions
• Interfunction & intrafunction coordination and alignment with adjacent functions (Controls & Software)
• Planning of design release
• Verification of design layouts and identifying constraints for releases
• Verification of design documentation (DAP, SOW, manuals, spares, mech-controls sign-offs, training materials, critical designs & dimensions)
• System integration design and concept
• Cycle time, stack-up, and budget preparation & monitoring
• Cross-functional leadership for leading technical tasks
• Managing work pool (tasks & activities)
• Creation and execution of test plans for system performance and issue resolution
• Layouts, assembly drawings, DFM, documentation, interfunction sign-offs, scheme finalization, FMEA, FEA
• Expertise in design tools: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, ERP/MPT, MS Office
• Holistic view & solution providing
• Risk identification, analysis, and mitigation
• Change management: capture & notify deviations, route through system
• Issue tracking: identify, record, plan resolutions, track actions, close issues
• FAT & SAT support for function-specific issues
• Participate in standardization & modularity initiatives
• Chinese–English translation proficiency (added competency)
