Position: Modeler – 3D Piping (TT36ST RM 4256)

Interview process- online
1st round – technical
2nd round – online tool test (CAD or Catia – Company will inform about the required software)

Education : Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Technical skills:

• Existing Working experience on Plant 3D. Minimum 3 years
• Knowledge of P&ID
• Knowledge of Piping layout
• Knowledge of equipment layout
• Selection of types of supports
• Knowledge of ASME, API, standards.
• Knowledge of Piping materials

Tool Skills:

• Autodesk Plant 3D (P3D)
• Revit Structures
• Inventor 3D

Special Requirements:

• Ability to read the design drawings and generate a 3D model in Revit
• Understanding the details from the design drawings and able to create a layout Drawings out of it.
• Ability to quality check the 3D model against design drawings
• Able to create shop drawings which include floor plans, sections, elevations, reflected ceiling plan, foundation plans, details, isometric view, etc.
  along with schedules, quantities from 3D model.
• Knowledge of Navisworks and Clash Test Report Preparation
• Revit family creation and modification as per requirement

Soft Skills

• Present Working experience on Inventor, Minimum 3 years.
• Knowledge of detail drawings of equipment
• Knowledge of various IS code
• Knowledge of part modeling and assemble modeling
• Knowledge of Steel Industry
• Manufacturing process knowledge
• Selection of basic mechanical elements, Pneumatics, Accessories etc.
• Should have knowledge of materials like Mild steel/ Stainless steel etc.,
• Awareness of structural steels like Channels, Beams, Plates, Pipes etc., & fasteners

Relevant Experience (Min)
3+ years of experience in experience in digitization and detail engineering of Steel plant or Oil and Gas or Pharmaceutical or Gas powerplant

Job Description
We are looking for a highly experience in digitization and detail engineering of Steel plant or Oil and Gas or Pharmaceutical or Gas powerplant. Proficiency in Navisworks for clash detection and AutoCAD for drafting is essential.

• Miscellaneous Support modeling
• Etraction Markup drawings
• Reviewing Vendor Drawings
• Part Modeling Knowledge in inventor
• Sheet Metal works in Inventor
• GA Drawing
• Coordination with the Civil and Piping.
• Basic engineering design and calculations
• Selection of material based on the application
• Basic mechanical engineering
