Position Summary
Enable early firmware, BSP, driver, and software development on the virtual platform before silicon availability.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Infrastructure System Modelling Support: Define software-visible behavior of virtualized hardware, and support integration of virtual devices and system components.
• Customer Software / Firmware Enablement: Develop BSP and low-level firmware; develop device drivers and initialization sequences; enable boot flows on the virtual platform; develop software for PCIe/CXL/connectivity and memory components; execute software workloads against the VDK/VP; debug hardware/software interaction issues.

Required Technical Skills

• 5–10+ years of embedded / pre-silicon software experience.
• C/C++.
• Embedded Linux.
• BSP development and device drivers.
• Firmware development.
• PCIe/CXL.
• SoC architecture.
• Virtual platforms.

Preferred Skills

• SystemC/TLM.
• Synopsys Virtualizer.
• UCIe.
• Bootloader development.
• ARM/RISC-V.
• AI accelerator software stack.
• Python.

Project Experience : Hands-on BSP/firmware/driver development against a virtual platform or VDK ahead of silicon availability.

Soft Skills

• Comfort operating in ambiguity before silicon/hardware is final.
• Strong hardware/software debugging mindset and close collaboration with the platform architecture
  team.

Good to Have

• Experience bringing up boot flows entirely on a virtual platform (Virtualizer/VDK) before first silicon.
• ARM or RISC-V bootloader development experience.

Expected Deliverables

• BSP, low-level firmware, and device drivers running on the virtual platform.
• Validated boot flows and software workloads executed against the VDK/VP.
• Documented hardware/software interaction issues and debug findings.

Growth Path

• Progress into Senior Pre-Silicon Software Lead or Platform Software Architect roles
