Position: Seating frame design (TT40SI RM 3991)

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Seating Frame Design Engineer with 4+ years of experience in automotive seat frame design and development. The candidate will be responsible for design, development, and validation support of seat structures ensuring quality, performance, cost, and manufacturability standards.

Education
B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive seat frame structures (Front / Rear seats).
• Work on seat mechanisms, recliner systems, track assemblies, and structural components.
• Prepare 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
• Perform tolerance stack-up and GD&T analysis.
• Coordinate with CAE, testing, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety and durability standards.
• Support prototype build and production release activities.
• Participate in design reviews and customer meetings.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Automotive Seating Frame Design.
• Hands-on experience in BIW / sheet metal design concepts.
• Good knowledge of welded structures, stamping, and fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as:
• CATIA
• Siemens NX
• Creo
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Understanding of DFMEA and DVP&R process.
• Familiarity with automotive safety norms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in working with global OEMs.
• Exposure to CAE validation support.
• Knowledge of cost optimization and value engineering.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
