sradmin Position: Software Engineer – Controls Software (PW715FT RM 3847)
Education : B.E, B.Tech, M.Sc. Electronics/Computer Science
Minimum experience : 1+ years of experience in computer maintenance and support
Reports to : Build Team Engineer, Resource Manager
Location : Majorly Shirwal, once in week Katraj, Pune
Skillset- mainly C#, Windows application
Expert in
- Installation of Windows Operating System.
- Configuration of PC systems devices and updating drivers from internet if necessary
- Installation of applications on the PC using standard procedure.
- Testing the installed applications, generating reports as necessary
- Onsite support for Equipment testing and validation, Line Bring Up, troubleshooting and resolving issues during production.
Knowledge of C# programming using Visual Studio, Electro mechanical sensors and actuators is added advantage.
Purpose of Job : Setting up the Fixture (Station) PCs for the trials at WP manufacturing facilities as well as at CM place.
Key Responsibilities
- Configuring the PC with necessary operating system and applications.
- Configuring the devices, performing basic testing.
- Executing the station trials as per the test procedure.
- Performing the same testing trials ar CM place after the station is dispatched.
- Onsite support during equipment installation and during production.
Reports
- Should update the time sheet regularly in the plannning system
- Should update the list of activities and task finished in the planning system
Meetings
- Review meetings whenever applicable.
- Weekly activity report
