Position: Software Test engineer (TT46ST RM 4292)

Role objective
Software Test Engineer to validate automotive/embedded software modules across bench and simulation environments. The role involves test case execution, defect analysis, interface verification, and automation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software test cases based on system and functional requirements
• Perform functional, regression, and interface-level testing
• Log, track, analyze, and verify software defects
• Support automation through Python/CAPL scripting
• Collaborate with development teams for issue reproduction and fix validation
• Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation and reports

Required Skills

• Experience in software testing for automotive or embedded systems
• Strong understanding of CAN/LIN/ETHERNET/FLEXRAY protocols, UDS
• AUTOSAR (BSW/ASW)
• Good knowledge of SDLC, V‑Model, and software verification practices
• Ability to interpret logs, debug issues, and validate software fixes
• Knowledge of V‑Model, verification & validation processes
• Knowlledge of Testing techniques and Testing concepts as per ISTQB FL
• knowledge of ISO 26262, safety standards
• Software Debugging / IDE Tools:WinIDEA, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code,dSPACE (Control Desk+ Automation Desk)
• Communication & Diagnostic Tools:VECTOR CANoe,CANape
• Test & Requirement Management Tools:PTC,ALM, DOORS
• Automation & Scripting: Python, CAPL
• Version Control & CI Tools:Git, SVN,Jenkins

Good-to-Have

• Familiarity with ASPICE,ISO26262 and automotive basics
• HIL testing experience (NI/EXAM)
• Experience with SIL/HIL testing environments
• Exposure to static & dynamic code analysis tools
• Experience with AI tool
