Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in Salesforce Testing. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
- Automate test cases using industry standard testing tools and frameworks.
- Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress and results.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Testing, including knowledge of Salesforce architecture and functionalities.
- Proficient in test case design, execution, and defect management.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Salesforce applications.
- Proven experience in test automation and performance testing.
