Job Description Summary

• Hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 7–8 years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in iOS, Web, API, and Database automation.
• Must have experience with Appium/XCUITest, Playwright/Selenium, REST API automation, Python/pytest or equivalent tools, and SQL.
• The role involves building scalable automation frameworks, developing end-to-end test scenarios, integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting issues across application layers.

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Automation Engineer with 7–8 years of experience in software testing and strong expertise in iOS, Web, API, and Database automation.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and driving end-to-end test automation across mobile applications, web platforms, backend APIs, and databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for iOS applications using Appium, XCUITest, TestSigma, or equivalent tools.
• Develop and execute Web automation scripts using Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent frameworks.
• Build API automation suites for REST services using Python/pytest, Postman/Newman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Perform database testing and data validation using SQL and programmatic database connectivity.
• Develop end-to-end automation scenarios covering Web → iOS → API/Backend → Database workflows.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Build reusable automation components, utilities, libraries, and test-data management solutions.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
• Analyze automation failures using application logs, API responses, database records, screenshots, and execution reports to identify root causes.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, framework reliability, scalability, and execution efficiency.
• Conduct automation code reviews, establish coding standards, and mentor fellow QA engineers when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–8 years of overall software testing experience, with strong hands-on automation expertise.
• Strong experience in iOS automation using Appium, XCUITest, or equivalent frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in Web automation using Playwright or Selenium.
• Strong expertise in REST API automation using Python/pytest, Postman/Newman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of SQL, database validation, and backend data testing.
• Strong programming and automation framework development skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and identify issues across mobile, web, API, backend, and database layers.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, digital health, or medical technology domains.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Ideal Candidate
A technically strong, hands-on automation engineer capable of independently owning automation initiatives, building robust frameworks, and validating complex end-to-end business workflows across multiple application layers.
