Position: System infotainment Engineer (TT35SI RM 4092)

Face-to-Face walk-in interview at Bangalore  office 

Basic Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  Experience: 3-5 Years
• What You Need
  o Strong knowledge in automotive domains like Audio, Tuner, BT, WiFi, Projection, Ethernet AVB, Camera and System
  o Strong expertise in testing and validating CAN protocol, including CAN 2.0A/B, CAN FD, and various data link layer aspects. Knowledge in any Python framework like Robot or pychamp is preferred
  o In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with testing UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) ISO 14229,
  o Hands-on experience with automotive communication testing tools such as Vector CANoe

What You Will Do

• Analyze software requirements and design specifications to develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases for domains.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, for multiple domains.
• Set up and configure test benches, including ECUs, communication interfaces, and diagnostic tools (e.g., Vector CANoe, CANape, Wireshark).
• Validate communication stack implementations and drivers for CAN (Controller Area Network), UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services), J1939, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Perform extensive testing of diagnostic functionalities using UDS, including fault code management, data acquisition, routine control, and ECU programming
  sequences.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools, working closely with development teams for timely resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis of communication-related issues and provide detailed logs and replication steps to developers.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using tools like Python, CAPL, or similar, to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in system testing and acceptance testing activities.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and traceability matrices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools

What is Nice to Have
o Proven experience with testing Automotive Ethernet, including knowledge of protocols like DoIP (Diagnostic over IP), SOME/IP (Scalable service-Oriented
Middleware over IP), and TCP/IP stackEager to learn and improve own skill
o Proficiency in scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, CAPL).
o Good problem-solving skills
o Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in an embedded environment.
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills
