Position: Technical Administrator (TT38ST RM 3949)
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Technical Administrator with 3–8 years of experience to support IT operations, technical systems, and administrative processes. The ideal candidate will ensure systems reliability, manage technical documentation, coordinate cross-functional support activities, and maintain efficient workflows to support business and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily technical administrative support for IT systems, tools, servers, and software operations
- Manage and maintain technical documentation, system logs, SOPs and user manuals
- Monitor system performance, respond to issues, and assist in troubleshooting
- Coordinate with technical, engineering, and operations teams to ensure system stability
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, licenses and user access provisioning
- Maintain inventory of technical equipment and manage vendor relationships
- Track KPIs and generate reports related to system performance and usage
- Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and data integrity standards
- Provide technical support for onboarding new employees and user training
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–8 years experience in technical administration, IT support, or systems management
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux), networks, servers, and cloud platforms
- Experience with system monitoring tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical ability
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or equivalent
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Exposure to ITSM frameworks (ITIL)
