Position: Validation Engineer (CE30SF RM 4490)

Required

• 3+ years of experience in validation and test development for embedded systems
• Design, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases for embedded software
• Experience in Independently understanding and following test strategy, test plan, and test specification.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms, pipeline development, and automation
• Knowledge of Jenkins administration and maintenance
• Python scripting experience
  o Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of low‑level drivers, middleware, and example applications.
  o Execute tests on real hardware as well as in simulated or pre‑silicon environments, where applicable.
  o Analyse test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to debug and resolve defects.
  o Contribute to improving test coverage, test automation, and test infrastructure.
  o Validate software behaviour across different MCU variants, boards, and configurations.
  o Ensure delivered software meets quality, reliability, and maintainability expectations.
  o Document test results clearly and communicate findings across teams.
  o Working knowledge of GIT or similar version control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting test environments
• Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Skilled in usage of AI tools to increase self-efficiency
• Knowledge of cryptography
• Development using NXP products MCUXpresso SDK, BSPs, or low‑level drivers.
• Realtime operating systems in embedded environments.
• Automotive or industrial quality standards (e.g. ASPICE, ISO 26262).
