Position: Asst. Manager / Manager – Sales (Concrete) (IMS715FT RM 3728)
Role Overview
This Position will be responsible for driving sales growth of concrete product line, managing customer relationships, and achieving revenue and market share targets. The role requires a strong understanding of the construction and infrastructure sector, business development skills, and the ability to lead sales initiatives across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for concrete products (batching plants, pumps, etc.).
- Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities in infrastructure, real estate, RMC, and allied
industries. - Manage existing customer accounts and ensure repeat business through strong relationship management.
- Achieve defined sales targets, market penetration, and profitability goals.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to recommend product/strategy
improvements. - Collaborate with marketing, product support, and service teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations, commercial negotiations, and closure of orders/contracts.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil) or equivalent. MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.
- 7–15 years of proven sales experience in concrete equipment, construction machinery, or related capital goods industry.
- Strong track record in achieving sales targets and building customer networks.
- Good understanding of project-based selling and B2B capital equipment sales.
- Familiarity with government tenders, EPC contractors, and major infra developers.
