Position: CAE – Senior Engineer (ANSA+ABAQUS) (TT35ST RM 4298)

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s in mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in the durability CAE domain.
• Good Experience of CAE Pre/Post & solver work (ANSA, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, META).
• Expertise analysis and evaluation of durability load cases.
• Experience in handling durability CAE models for full vehicle or assembly specific.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of durability concepts, physics, and engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Independent in durability CAE analysis for complex systems (powertrain, driveline, full vehicle).
• Expected expertise:
  o Modal analysis
  o 1G Static
  o 1G FRF (Frequency Response Function)
  o Vibration fatigue analysis
  o Optimization studies
• Countermeasure proposals for durability issues
• Validate correctness of CAE results independently and propose design solutions.
• Summarize evaluations and deliver results to project leaders.
• Contribute knowledge management and process improvements.
• Support client requirements with technical expertise in durability domain.

Core Skills

• Essential: Ansa Modeling, Solver proficiency (Nastran/Abaqus), META post-processing, counter measures.
• Desirable: Morphing, FE mesh modifications for design alternatives, FE modifications without CAD
• Software: ANSA, META, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, CATIA.
• Relationship Skills: Clear communication, quick learning, client interaction.
