About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Leader – Software Development to lead the design, development, and deployment of software solutions for high-speed industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in machine control software development, industrial automation, motion control systems, and team leadership.

This role involves managing end-to-end software development activities, mentoring engineering teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Educational Qualification : B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

• 15 to 20 years of experience in software development, preferably within industrial automation and machine control systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in team leadership, project delivery, and customer engagement.
  Technical Skills & Expertise

Must-Have Skills

• Application development on Windows platforms using:
  o C/C++
  o C#
  o VB
  o LabVIEW
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  o NI DAQ Systems
  o EtherCAT Devices
  o Industrial Automation Systems
  o Motion Control & Digital I/O Systems
• Excellent command over:
  Visual Studio IDE
  NI LabVIEW
• Strong understanding of:
  o Automation Frameworks
  o Machine Controller Software Development
  o Agile Development Methodologies
  o Object-Oriented Programming Concepts
• Expertise in C# development.

Preferred Skills

• Closed-loop control systems.

  o Execute software architecture and coding activities for industrial automation applications.
  o Understand, implement, and maintain system architecture within defined frameworks.
  o Ensure adherence to project execution plans and development standards.
  o Conduct software testing and execute test plans to ensure quality and reliability.

  o Work closely with Mechanical Design, Controls Design, Build, and Site Teams.
  o Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external outsourcing partners for project execution.
  o Act as a key interface between customers and project teams.

  o Evaluate and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance automation capabilities.
  o Promote best practices in modular programming and object-oriented design.
  o Drive continuous improvement through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Resource & Delivery Management
  o Allocate resources effectively to meet project schedules and business objectives.
  o Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  o Support equipment trials, commissioning activities, and site proving.
