Role Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will maintain and improve build and integration pipelines for Yocto-based development. The role focuses on CI/CD automation, build reliability, vulnerability scanning, and supporting artefact management workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI to streamline Yocto build and integration processes.
• Manage and support source control and code review workflows using GitLab and Gerrit, ensuring smooth collaboration across engineering teams.
• Support and maintain Yocto build infrastructure, ensuring reproducibility and reliability of builds.
• Work with existing AWS S3 integrations for storage and retrieval of Yocto build artifacts, license tarballs, and other generated deliverables.
• Develop and modify Groovy scripts to enhance and manage Jenkins pipeline logic and configurations.
• Troubleshoot build and pipeline issues related to Yocto and Jenkins.
• Maintain and update Yocto recipe (.bb) files to manage build dependencies and custom layers.
• Support security and compliance workflows by operating and troubleshooting Vigiles vulnerability scanning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance build speed, consistency, and automation reliability.

• CI/CD Platforms: Jenkins, GitLab Pipeline
• Version Control & Code Review: GitLab, Gerrit
• Build System: Yocto Project (BitBake, recipe management)
• Scripting Languages: Groovy (DSL), with exposure to Python and Bash
• Security & Compliance Tools: Vigiles (vulnerability scanning)
• Cloud Platform Exposure: AWS (S3 for build artifact and license storage)
• Operating Environment: Linux-based build and development systems
