Position: VD – Attributes_Lead (TT38ST RM 3955)
About the Role
We are hiring a skilled VD – Attributes Lead with 3–8 years of experience in vehicle development to drive vehicle attribute definition, integration, validation, and performance achievement across programs.
The role requires strong cross-functional coordination to ensure key vehicle attributes such as durability, safety, NVH, thermal, ride & handling, and overall performance meet target requirements from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead vehicle attribute definition and target setting aligned with product requirements
- Own attribute development roadmap across the vehicle lifecycle
- Develop validation strategies including CAE simulations and physical testing
- Coordinate with Design, CAE, Testing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program teams
- Identify performance gaps and drive corrective action plans
- Analyze vehicle test data and simulation outputs to validate targets
- Monitor attribute KPIs and ensure timely milestone achievement
- Lead attribute review meetings and present status updates to leadership
- Support regulatory compliance and certification requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in vehicle development processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in vehicle development / attribute engineering
- Strong understanding of vehicle attributes such as durability, safety, NVH, thermal, ride & handling
- Experience in CAE tools (Ansys, Abaqus, HyperWorks, Nastran, etc.)
- Exposure to vehicle-level testing and validation methodologies
- Ability to interpret test data and simulation results
- Knowledge of vehicle development lifecycle (V-cycle / stage-gate process)
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering
- Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers
- Exposure to full vehicle integration programs
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and industry benchmarks
