Electrical Engineer (TT58ST RM 4318)

Position: Electrical Engineer (TT58ST RM 4318)

Position Summary : Develop forward model architectures for products within quality, time and cost restraints.

Roles and Responsibility:
Responsible for defining technical solutions for electronic modules. Schematic capture, parts selections, circuit analysis, product validation, and production transition. Investigate failures and propose improvements. Interface with ECAD for circuit board layout, compliance with Manufacturing Design Rules.

• Control and release of Electrical BOM.
• Work with manufacturing engineers to develop test specifications for required test equipment.
• Interface with EMC activities to ensure compliance and final approvals from customers.
• Participate in Design reviews.
• Documentation of all aspects of the product development process.
• Development or review of hardware/software interface specifications.
• Lead design reviews with peers and Technical Specialists.
• Design change tracking.
• Execute development in accordance with the GEP.
• Hands on experience on ADAS or Sensor or similar product
• Experience with Microcontroller based design and High-speed Interfaces
• Good knowledge on DV & PV Testing
• Analog, Digital and High-speed design knowledge
• Perform Noise Margin Analysis, WCCA, DFMEA, and other HW design analysis
• Interpret the SI and PI analysis report and recommend the changes
• Good at EMC compliance Design
• Execute development in accordance with the GEP/PDP.
• Experience working with PCB layout Engineer and guiding them
• Develop the EMI / EMC test plans
• Knowledge in Instrumentation usage, Board bring up and HW debugging
• Experience in HW Test set up preparation and HW Testing & Test report preparation
• Understand the OEM and regulatory requirements & Implement in HW design
• Review the PCB design and guide the PCB designer to achieve DFM & Design requirements
• Actively Participate in Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving activities
• Good knowledge of HDLC and Process implementation for HW development.
• Customer Interface and customer management skills
• Ability to perform 8-D, 5-Why, Fishbone analysis,
• Usage of Test Instrumentation and Testing
• Added advantage experience with high-speed interface Design, Simulation & Validation Ethernet, DDR & High-Speed SERDES

Technical Skills

• ADAS Systems components/Sensor/Camera/ LIDAR/RADAR and subsystem functions knowledge
• Good knowledge on Automotive functional Safety ISO-26262 Part5,
• Good knowledge on CAN and Automotive ethernet

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:

• B.Tech/BE/ M.S/MTECH in Electrical/ E & C
• Experience Automotive Industry is Preferable
• Knowledge of FPGA’s, DSP’s, EMC, FMEA and RF Signal processing a plus.
• Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in the automotive and/or electronics industry.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required and ability to work in a team environment
