Position: Certification Lead (TT911ST RM 4058)

Interview- L1, L2 – Both Virtual
5 days- work from office.

Overall responsibilities and duties:
The Certification Lead who will be responsible for planning, executing and governing all certification and compliance activities required for Infotainment and Cockpit Electronics Products & Lead the entire certification lifecycle – from documentation preparation and submission to final certification approval.

Qualifications:
o Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science
Experience:
o 9 to 11 years experience in Certification Testing & leadership.

Skills and competencies:
Must Have:
o Experience in Automotive infotainment modules (Bluetooth, Media, AA, CP, USB,RADIO,DAB, etc.).
o Experience in Android auto & Carplay ( Wired & Wireless), Wi-Fi, USB, iAP2 certifications.
o Strong end to end certification capability, including supplier documentation review, submission to partner systems (Google, Apple, USB IF, BT SIG, Wi Fi Alliance), and approvals required for vehicle launch.
o Experience in identification, preparation of test plans & execute functional plans written by compliance of automotive infotainment.
o Experience in leading certification programs from planning through approval.
o Experience in Managing all certification submissions, test scheduling and compliance documentation.
o Experience in Coordination with external test labs and certification authorities.
o Experience in planning certification roadmaps, timelines and dependencies.
o Experience in risk identification and mitigation planning.
o Skilled in collaborating with cross functional teams.
o Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis skills for addressing certification failures.
o Proficiency with tools:
Ellisys, Beagle, PTS suite, Wi Fi sniffers, RF chambers.
o Basic Understanding in CAN/UDS protocols
o Expérience JIRA, Confluence & ALM Tools.
o Experience in Budget planning for certification cycles, lab costs and resource management.
o Proven end to end certification knowledge from documentation readiness and submission to compliance review and final certification approval.

Nice to have:
o Adaptability to work with fast-changing standards and technology requirements.
o Working experience on vector Tools like CANcase, Canalyzer
o Experience in STLC (Software Testing life cycle)
o Experience in ASPICE SYS5
o Basic scripting/automation (Python)for test data parsing.

Responsibilities:
o To lead certification activities for multiple projects.
o To define overall certification strategy for new products and platform releases.
o To Identify all relevant certification needs across markets.
o To manage documentation packages, test reports and compliance evidence.
o To review and approve all certification test results and corrective actions.
o To Develop certification roadmaps aligned with product development, validation and release milestones.
o To Anticipate risks, certification blockers and compliance gaps early in the lifecycle.
o To drive cross-team alignment on certification readiness at key program milestones.
o To manage on scope, timelines, test plans and project costs.
o To ensure all certification requirements are incorporated into design, validation and release processes.
o To manage certification portals (Google, Apple MFi, USB IF, Bluetooth SIG, Wi Fi Alliance).
o To Coordinate with authorized test labs.
o To Prepare, maintain and submit HUCD, GTM file, PPID, compliance reports
o To analyze certification requirements.
o To ensure seamless communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
o To improve certification processes, documentation templates, checklists, and test automation.
o To ensure proper re testing or re certification where necessary.
o To Mentor junior engineers and review their certification work.
o To Evaluate the certification impact of: Component changes, Hardware revisions & Firmware/software releases
