Job Summary
The ART Vehicle Interface connects the Infotainment Platform with the vehicle network, enabling data exchange between ECUs. The scope spans three major streams:
- Communication: OSI layer 2–7 in-vehicle networking, CAN routing, SOME/IP, signal/service-based communication, Android Camera HAL, firewall configuration.
- Car Business Logic (Car_BL): BAP/ASI to VIWI conversion across domains including climate, ADAS, seats, charging, driving profiles, doors and 20+ other functional areas.
- Cluster Services: Instrument cluster data provisioning — BlinkCycle, DWM, SeatBelt, MFA, SIA, FuelLevel, PSO, NWDF, NPM, FOD, ADAS Selection, Cluster APK and more.
Required Skills & Qualifications
AV & TIMING PROTOCOLS (Must Have)
- RTP / RTCP — real-time audio/video streaming
- MPEG-TS — transport stream handling
- H.264 / H.265 — video codec knowledge
- PTP (Precision Time Protocol / IEEE 1588) sync
- Automotive Ethernet (100BASE-T1, 1000BASE-T1)
VEHICLE PROTOCOLS (Must Have)
- SOME/IP with Service Discovery
- CAN / CAN-FD signal communication
- VLAN configuration & IPv6 networking
- Android Camera HAL (HW Abstraction Layer)
TESTING & AUTOMATION (Must Have):
- Test Automation: Python, CAPL, Robot Framework
- Test Specification (ASPICE SWE.4/SWE.6 aligned)
- Jitter/latency measurement & AV sync validation
- CI/CD integrated test pipelines
TOOLS (Must Have):
- Wireshark — AV stream & timing analysis
- CANoe — bus-level protocol testing
- Network debug: tcpdump, iperf, ping, traceroute etc.
- PCM dump analyses
- Linux OS multimedia & networking stack
- e.solutions Communication Framework
PROCESS:
- Jira/KPM defect management
- Agile/SAFe methodology
- English fluent (written & oral), German preferred
